Kids come in wearing these fake looking Diamond T’s and shirts all the time and I know where they get them…Pacsun.
Yes they technically are Diamond Supple Co. No they are not made by Diamond Supply Co. Pacsun buys the licensing for the brand and then print’s their own clothing. The print was once made by Diamond (five years ago), but it’s a reprint with different colors and detailing. The shirts also have a different fit than the AAA DSC uses. And if you know Diamond you know they don’t do reprints….ever. Once a print is gone it won’t be back in the same way again. Pacsun does the same with Crooks & Castles. It bugs me because the kids are still paying the same price ($30) for the “legit” fakes and not even knowing that their shirt was not made by Diamond or Crooks. What’s worse, the employees at Pacsun don’t even know. Come on guys, know the product you sell and buy.
So for all you Zumiez haters out there…at least we sell the legit shit. You mad we carry Janoskis and Kostons now too?
